Can you transfer more than one video tape to dvd?

Yes, you can combine multiple video tapes onto a single DVD.  Because a DVD can only hold so much data you are limited in the amount of video that you can put on a DVD; about 3 hours of video can fit onto a DVD.

How long does it take to transfer a 2 hour video tape onto a dvd?

Video tapes are transferred in real-time.  As the video is playing the analog video signal is captured and converted to digital video.  So a 2 hour video tape would take two hours to be converted into digital.  Because VHS video is analog there is no way to transfer the video faster than real-time.  Once the video is digital it can be trasfered onto a DVD at the speed of the DVD burner, e.g. 12x 24x or 36x faster than real-time.

How can i convert hi8 video to dvd?

To convert Hi8 video to DVD you first need to convert the analog video, the format in which Hi8 tapes store video in, to digital.  This process occurs in real-time as the Hi8 tape plays on a Hi8 player.
